As Holy Week neared, children, young people and parents in the Spanish-language faith formation program experienced the message of Holy Week more closely by recalling five important moments:
- Palm Sunday – Celebrating the triumphant entry of Jesus in Jerusalem and welcoming him with joy.
- The Last Supper – Learning that true love is lived by serving others.
- The Crucifixion – Remembering Jesus' great sacrifice out of love for us.
- The Sepulchre – Experiencing a moment of silence, trust and hope in God.
- Easter Sunday – Joyfully celebrating that Jesus lives and his love conquers all.
The March 21 event was a time filled with faith family unity and learning that the story doesn't end on the cross -- the light always returns.
