Welcome to St. Theresa's Catholic Church

St. Theresa Catholic Church invites all to follow Jesus Christ by celebrating the sacraments and building a community of compassion.

La Iglesia Católica de Santa Teresa invita a todos a seguir a Jesucristo celebrando los sacramentos y construyendo una comunidad devota.

Guided by our beloved St. Theresa, our community invites all to know the love of Jesus Christ. May we be nourished by the sacraments, live lives with extraordinary love, and proclaim the Gospel to all those we encounter.

Called to Serve

The Archdiocese of Seattle is currently conducting the Called To Serve as Christ capital campaign. This $100 million campaign is to address the pension and medical needs for our retired priests and women religious.  Learn more about the campaign.

Your time and talent will contribute to a successful campaign. Would you help with one of the following tasks?

  • Inform parishioners of the campaign.
  • Solicit pledges from fellow parishioners.
  • Support the nuts and bolts of running a campaign.

Please contact the parish office at 253-838-5924 or Denny LaPorte at 253-927-1904 to join in.

Note: The Annual Catholic Appeal funds the archdiocese's ongoing mission and administration. The Called To Serve as Christ funds are separate. You can be confident that all funds the archdiocese receives, whether through parish billings, the ACA, this campaign, or other avenues, will be used prudently and effectively. The archdiocesan chancery, Priest Pension Plan, and Priest Health Plan are independently audited annually.

Bishops Condemn Family Separations at the U.S.-Mexico Border

Archbishop J. Peter Sartain and Auxiliary Bishops Eusebio Elizondo and Daniel Mueggenborg of the Archdiocese of Seattle join in supporting and affirming the statement by Cardinal Daniel N. DiNardo, archbishop of Galveston-Houston and president of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops, condemning the separation of families at the U.S.-Mexico border.

On June 20, President Donald Trump issued an executive order that changes the policy at the border and discontinues the separation of families. Together with the other U.S. bishops, Archbishop Sartain, Bishop Elizondo and Bishop Mueggenborg will continue to work toward comprehensive immigration reform that honors the dignity of those seeking a better life in the United States as well as the legitimate need for safe and secure borders.

Read the text of Bishop DiNardo’s June 13, 2018 statement.

Congratulations to our newly confirmed parishioners: Joshua, Dylan, Gabrielle, Maria, Zachary, Alexandria, and Daniel.
