Saying Goodbye to Linda

Faith in Action

In her 25 years of service at St. Theresa’s, Linda DeMarce has worked with many pastoral councils, which serves as an advisory body to her. At times, it means letting new members know what their roles are and aren’t! At times, it means urging pastoral councils to gather information from parishioners. It has meant finding ways to include a representation from a wide spectrum of groups and demographics that make up St. Theresa’s. It means an ongoing commitment to finding ways to say yes to new projects and requirements, while at the same time holding onto traditions. It has meant raising money, raising awareness, and raising leaders! It is not an easy job!

On behalf of all the Pastoral Councils that Linda has listened to, encouraged, supported, urged, laughed with and cried with, we thank her. It has been our pleasure and joy to work with Linda.

We hope you can make it to one of the after-Mass events the weekend of June 25-26 to say your good-byes and wish her all the best as she transitions to life in retirement.

Gratefully, and feeling blessed, the 2021-2022 Pastoral Council members send their best to Linda: Russell Adams, Jason Amann, Robert Bartolome, Miguel Diaz, Doug Johnson, Luoana Leyes, Ines Mata, P.J. McGuire, Mary Morrison, and Nick Spika
