Our Synodal Journey: Listening to each other

Synodal Journey

For the past few weeks you’ve heard Fr. Jay talk about the Synodal Journey. You might also have read about it in the most recent Northwest Catholic, or in our parish bulletin. It’s time to take action!

We invite you to join us to listen to each other on February 27, 2022 after the 11 a.m. Mass, in the Parish Hall. It will take about an hour of your time. And what we’ll doing is answering some questions together: What about the Catholic Church, particularly St. Theresa’s, fills your heart? What about the Catholic Church breaks your heart? Open the flyer.

That’s it. We’ll spend some time in prayer, so our responses are guided by the Holy Spirit. Since this is part of a global effort, we’ll be gathering some themes from the listening, and sharing that information with the Archdiocese.

Why are we doing this? Many of us feel we could have a stronger connection with each other, building a community together. And that begins with being together and listening together. Getting to know each other a bit more, and learning who we are. And that’s the Synodal Journey that Pope Francis and Archbishop Etienne are calling us to take together.

No registration required. Join us Sunday, February 27, after the 11 am Mass.  If you can’t make that session, we’ll have another session on Saturday, March 5, at 10:30 a.m.
