Prayers of the Faithful

1p2

I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all men, for kings, and all who are in high positions.” 1 Tim 2:1-2

If you would like the community to pray for you, you can add your petition to the book in the narthex when you come to Mass.

Please remember the following petitions in your prayers this week:

That we, the Church, will courageously take up our crosses and follow in the way of Jesus Christ. We pray to the Lord.

That those entrusted with leadership throughout the world will be diligent in their efforts to establish and preserve lasting peace. We pray to the Lord.

That those who cling to their earthly possessions will come to know that the value of those possessions is nothing when compared to the value of salvation in Christ Jesus. We pray to the Lord.

That the sick will know comfort in their fear. We pray to the Lord.

That those who have died will soon take their place at the heavenly banquet. We Pray to the Lord.
